Copper Pipe

There are various alloys of Copper pipe and tube on the market. The term Copper pipe or Copper tube generally refer to high copper content (generally 99% or more) pipe or tube. Trenton stocks Alloy 122 known as Alloy UNS No. C12200 seamless pipe schedule 40 and schedule 80 wall thickness, fully compliant to ASTM B42.

There are various alloys and sizes of Copper pipe on the market. Trenton stocks only Copper Alloy C12200, but other alloys, such as C10200, C10300, and C12000 are available as a special order.

Standards
Copper pipe stocked by Trenton is made to the exacting standards of ASTM B-42.

Sizes stocked
1/4” through 2” nominal diameters in Regular/Schedule 40 select sizes in Extra Strong/Schedule 80.

Tempers stocked
Three common tempers are H-80/ Hard Drawn (most common), H55 / Light Drawn, and O-61/Annealed. All are stocked in H-80, Hard Drawn Temper—other tempers are available as a special order.

Lengths
Most all alloy 122 Copper Brass is stocked in 12 ft mill lengths; other lengths are also available. Full lengths of pipe can be cut to enable it to be shipped by UPS (may save considerable money over truck shipments of small quantities).

Dimensional standards are same as the Red Brass pipe standard dimensions, tolerances—weights are slightly higher.
