Copper-Nickel Pipe (Cupro Nickel)

The two common Seamless Copper-nickel alloys are Alloy 706 (C76000 – 10% nickel) and Alloy 710 (C71000 – 20% nickel). Trenton stocks Alloy 706 only; Alloy 710 as well as other CuNi alloys is available as a special order. The applicable Standard is ASTM B 466.

There are various alloys and sizes of Copper-Nickel pipe on the market. Trenton stocks only Copper Nickel Alloy C70600, also known as “90-10 Copper Nickel,” but other alloys are available as a special order.

Standards
Copper Nickel pipe stocked by Trenton is made to the exacting standards of ASTM B-466.

Sizes stocked
1/4” through 2” nominal diameters in Regular/Schedule 40 select sizes in Extra Strong/Schedule 80.

Tempers stocked
All are stocked in Annealed Temper—other tempers are available as a special order.

Lengths
Most all alloy 706 Copper Nickel pipe is stocked in 20 ft mill lengths; other lengths are also available. Full lengths of pipe can be cut to enable it to be shipped by UPS (May save considerable money over truck shipments of small quantities).
